Value added Support & Management

Overview:
After being commissioned to perform a full network audit on the client site a document was presented, highlighting a number of potentially crippling weaknesses.

Requirement:
On reading the report & having been experiencing poor performance on their trading network, the client engaged ENS to draft a schedule of remedial tasks that would alleviate the pertinent performance issues, whilst building in the maximum level of resilience and management given the existing hardware in the most aggressive timescale.

Solution:
A schedule of planned remedial works was decided in order to achieve the clients' goals. These tasks were then implemented, in tandem with the internal IT staff without affecting service. A full QA was carried out after each stage and the network was then fully documented.

ENS was then commissioned to provide a comprehensive support and management solution for the entire network.

The network has grown significantly and continues to do so, incorporating several offices and access to multiple exchanges via a number of front-end ISV systems, as well as bespoke internal web based services.

As part of the Value added contract a bandwidth capacity and error report is generated weekly to spot potential issues before they impact on the production environment.
