ENS's network design solutions are based on our "Clean Model" methodology, which incorporates high availability, maximum performance and resilience as its foundations. (The concept of the clean model architecture comes from the need to implement an electronic trading network in a completely different manner employed when implementing a traditional network).

Firewall Support
ENS understands the security implications surrounding Internet connections to a trading network carrying sensitive data; therefore, all sites currently under ENS management access the Internet via a Firewall that is managed as part of the client Support contract. ENS offers effective solutions to the specific issues posed through Internet Services in the Electronic trading arena.

ISV Integration
ENS can have a positive, tangible impact to the performance, resilience and manageability to a clients' infrastructure, through ISV integration. We appreciate that the demands of most trading rooms are largely driven by the traders themselves, but ISV products have differing architecture and mechanisms but still need access to the same users and exchanges. ENS has a proven track record in designing electronic trading infrastructures where several ISV systems require integration on to the same network.
